SMART VOTE 1.12.10

The SMART VOTE application is designed to provide convenience for eligible voters to access information about election candidates, political parties, and other relevant information in the upcoming 2019 parliamentary elections in Thailand, as well as in future elections.

The application includes:

• Checking polling stations and viewing the list of candidates in your constituency.
• Data on all parliamentary candidates, including constituency-based candidates (11,181 individuals in 350 constituencies nationwide), party-list candidates (2,917 individuals), and candidates for prime minister. Each candidate profile includes a photo.
• Information about political parties and their policies.
• Election-related knowledge resources, such as informative videos and infographics explaining the election process, vote counting and result announcement procedures, objections to the election, and cases where voting is not possible.
• Laws related to elections, including the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand (2017) and relevant acts/regulations issued by the Election Commission of Thailand.
• Pre-election voting procedures, explained through infographics for voting inside and outside constituencies, as well as overseas voting. The application also provides forms and links for online voter registration.
